Accessibility Statement

As a sign of commitment to society, Adeslas Dental strives to make the contents of its website accessible to all people, avoiding obstacles as much as possible access to the products and services we offer and increasing the accessibility of information through the Internet in an inclusive way for all people who visit us.

To achieve this objective, Adeslas Dental has based itself on the recommendations established by the accessibility standard WCAG 2.1 (Accessibility Guidelines for Web Content), created by the international consortium World Wide Consortium (W3C).

In this sense, Adeslas Dental applies the AA level accessibility guidelines, always taking into account the continuous improvement of our digital assets.

Developed actions

To make navigation through our website accessible, we have developed a series of functionalities that allow information to be available through more than one sensory channel, taking into account:

  • Support for assistive technologies: such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive devices.
  • Media content accessibility: including subtitles and descriptions for media content, such as videos and audios.
  • The structure of the content: we have ordered the hierarchy of headers and the structure of the forms.
  • Color contrast: adapting the contrast of text and background to guarantee readability for users with visual disabilities or color blindness.
  • Interactive elements: adding accessibility features to buttons, links, menus and interactive controls.

With these actions we want get avoid:

  • Navigation issues: For example, links that are not keyboard accessible or interactive elements that do not provide enough feedback to be used by people who rely on screen readers.
  • Structure and semantics errors: Poorly structured headers that affect the ability of assistive technology users to navigate the site correctly.
  • Non-textual content: That all images, graphics, and other non-textual elements have alternative descriptions for people who cannot see the visual content.
  • Usability problems: Those design elements that may be technically compliant, but that pose usability barriers for people with disabilities.

Furthermore, on our website we make available:

  • An accessibility solution implemented on our Website: Equalweb.

Considerations:

The information contained in the portal has been created progressively for more than 5 years. Adeslas Dental continues to actively work every day to achieve a consistent level of accessibility and maintain a high volume of pages accessible created over time. Therefore, our intention is to apply improvements as the natural content updating process evolves.
